The academic year gets underway at THB College, training the next generation of hospitality industry talent

Culinary arts, Food & Beverage, and hotel management once again take centre stage in a training model that combines learning, hands-on experience and professional development within THB hotels.

We believe that the future of the hotel industry is built by investing in people. Guided by this philosophy, THB College, THB hotels’ corporate school, began a new academic year on 14th September, reaffirming our commitment to training, employability and talent development.

The teaching staff and industry professionals involved in the project prepared to welcome the students and embark on a particularly exciting academic year, with culinary arts and Food & Beverage students, as well as future assistant managers, returning to the classroom.

THB College’s approach to education and training is closely aligned with the realities of the tourism industry. Through its programmes, students combine the acquisition of knowledge and professional skills with practical experience in real working environments.

The classrooms and hotels provide complementary learning environments, giving students a first-hand insight into hotel operations while enabling them to develop the skills currently sought by the industry.

A very special year for our Food and Beverage class

The 2026/27 academic year will be particularly significant for our Level 3 Food and Beverage students, who are embarking on the final stage of their programme before their graduation this year.

This year will see the completion of a journey filled with learning, hard work and professional development that enabled them to further their knowledge and skills while gaining first-hand experience of the realities of the hotel industry.

Their graduation will also provide further proof that THB College is fulfilling its purpose, namely, to build a pipeline of skilled, well-prepared talent with the real possibility of developing a career in hospitality and tourism.

Hotel training connected to the professional world  

THB College is part of THB hotels’ commitment to driving new approaches to training and professional development that respond to the industry’s real needs.

Through training programmes in areas such as culinary arts, Food & Beverage, and hotel management, we aim to give every student the opportunity to learn from professionals currently working in the sector, develop both technical and interpersonal skills, and gain a first-hand understanding of how our hotels operate.
