On 2nd January 1987, THB hotels embarked on its business venture on the island of Mallorca under the leadership of Francisco Miralles. His remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, sharp business vision and the constant support of his family are the key elements that have shaped the successful company it is today. Today, the family, together with a team of highly skilled experts in hotel management, has transformed THB hotels into a constantly expanding chain, with 3- and 4-star hotels located in several of Spain’s top tourist destinations: Mallorca, Ibiza, the Costa del Sol, and Lanzarote.

Right from the start, here at THB hotels we have been aware that tourism operates within a privileged environment. For this reason, we have opted for the progressive implementation in our properties of a management system based on the international ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, while also incorporating requirements from other sustainability-focused systems, such as Ecostars or the GHG protocol for verifying greenhouse gas emissions. The scope of our management system also extends to our accommodation, dining, and events services.

The team at our central offices, managers of each of our hotels, the heads of the various departments and all other members of the organisation share responsibility for fomenting our Quality and Environmental Policy, each within the sphere of their particular role. Collaboration with all our stakeholders (clients, employees, suppliers, etc.) provides us with suggestions and proposals that allow us to introduce constant improvements and actively participate in the Integrated Management System, thereby driving its efficiency.
