THB hotels joins the “Committed Companies, Companies with Values” network, included in the “Companies that Help” programme.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an unprecedented crisis that is having a devastating impact on companies and their employees.
At a time of severe economic hardship for many families, we have signed up to the COMPANIES THAT HELP” programme. The Balearic Islands’ Confederation of Business Associations (CAEB) plays an active role in this initiative, launched by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE) through its foundation, in order to coordinate corporate actions of solidarity that will contribute to tackling the COVID-19 crisis.
The programme’s objectives include promoting social actions in our autonomous community targeting the most disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. In this sense, we are involved in two major action areas:
• Donations for community kitchens. These centres cater for the essential needs of persons in situations of extreme poverty. Today, they provide hundreds of services each day, offering shelter, breakfasts, snacks, lunches and dinners, as well as psychological assistance, social support, employment advice and a decent environment that will help these people get their lives back on track.
• Donations of items to SOS Children’s Villages (Aldeas Infantiles) (food, clothing, personal hygiene and cleaning products, toys, etc.). This organisation provides support and assistance for vulnerable children and young people, contributing to their development and autonomy, based on fostering programmes with families and strengthening their family, social and community networks.
“COMPANIES THAT HELP” provides a meeting point for companies and charitable organisations that work to provide relief for thousands of needy families that have suffered impoverishment due to the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.
THB hotels is now part of the “Committed Companies, Companies with Values” network. The members of this network include all those companies that participate in any of the CAEB’s Social Responsibility programmes.
Here at THB hotels, we are committed to provide ongoing support for initiatives that will enable us to improve the welfare of our autonomous community, including our social and natural environment. We are firm believers in the saying “Small actions, big results”.
